Meanwhile in Fernfield the Buddies B-Dawg, MudBud, Rosebud, Budderball and Buddha aren't feeling the Christmas Spirit. Deputy Sniffer tells that there is more in Christmas than just getting presents, giving and helping is more important. Dog catcher Stan Cruge (Christopher Lloyd) catches some stray dogs. After seeing Budderball on the Naughty list, Santa Paws decides it would be nice to meet some normal puppies.

This is a quite formulaic movie that is good for kids. Nice Christmas story but with quite little to offer for grownups. Except for cute doggies. And the rapper dog was fun too.
