In Wild West Lucifer (Mickey Rourke) has lots of souls to take. Red Cavanaugh (Anthony Michael Hall) is about to get hanged. Guerrero (Danny Trejo) has badass three-barreled revolvers. He and Blackwater Gang free Red. They plan to rob gold from Edendale. The town is corrupt and everyone is quarreling to get the mining rights. Guerrero wants to rob the gold without too many casualties. Red has other plans and he takes over the whole town. The gang murders Guerrero. Red then renames the town Tombstone.

Guerrero goes to Hell. He makes a deal with the Devil that he will exchange his soul for the six souls of his murderers. Devil accepts because he enjoys a good show. Year later Guerrero rises from the grave. He has 24 hours to kill the Blackwater Gang.

Guerroro begins to take the gang down one by one. However it is harder now, because they have recruited other gunmen. Dead sheriff's wife Calathea (Dina Meyer) and Father Paul (James Carroll Jordan) watch in awe as Guerrero cleans up the corrupt town. They offer some backup although reverend has objections about helping Devil's bounty hunter.

Danny Trejo is good as ever as dark avenger. Mickey Rourke is great as smirking Devil. Cinematography looks good, bit like "Deadwood". However the gang members are a bit too regular type villains, and their special skills are not used very well. For example Washington (Radu Andrei Micu) is wanted for arson, but he does not burn anything up (he uses dynamite in one scene though). After a good start it gets a bit repetitive with shootouts against target villains and their henchmen. Also Guerrero does not use much of his cool three-barreled guns. Dina Meyer does good Calamity Jane type role as tough gun-woman.
