The Perfect Host title
John Taylor (Clayne Crawford) has a bad day. First he robs a bank and gets wounded in his foot. Then he tries to buy disinfectant but gets robbed. Also his face is all over the news bulletins. Trying to get a hideout he pretends to be a friend of friend of Warwick Wilson (David Hyde Pierce). Nice and polite Warwick is waiting for visitors and is preparing a dinner.

John blows his cover and threatens Warwick. However the tables are turned as Warwick does not have all bats in the belfry. Also the dinner guests are quite unusual. John does his best trying to survive the night alive. Meanwhile two detectives Valdez (Joseph Will) and Morton (Nathaniel Parker) try to solve the bank robbery. However nothing is as it seems.

Tables are turned
David Hyde Pierce plays his role a bit more casually than in the role of Niles Crane in "Frasier". At least until Warwick turns into party host who is possibly a serial-killer. Largely the movie is a two-man show of Pierce and Crawford, with some flashbacks of John's girlfriend Simone (Megahn Perry). Clayne Crawford looks a lot like Ray Liotta:
Clayton Crawford and Ray Liotta doppelgangers
Entertaining and chilling thriller with some black comedy, with some surprising twists but not without some plot holes.
Detectives Morton (Nathaniel Parker) and Valdez (Joseph Will)
Party to be missed
Rating: Good
