KitSound Mini Buddy speakers are cheap and usually the price range is
about 8-15€ (around 10-20$). There are many different perky designs for
these mini speakers such as bear, monkey, bunny, devil, bomb, Union
Jack, football and much more. I tested pig and frog speakers.
The
KitSound Mini Buddies come with 3.5 mm cable for connecting to
MP3-player, phone or other audio source. There is also a keyring.
Besides the power on/off switch there are no other buttons so volume so the volume must be adjusted using music player. When switched on there is a blue light turned on. There is no charging indicator but the battery takes about three hours to be fully charged. If using the normal volume for listening in a medium sized room the battery lasts very long (for me after listening 11 CDs it still has charge left).
It seems that thes speakers use different types of USB-cables for recharging. The pig has micro-USB-B type connector whereas the frog has a small coaxial type connector.

The
speakers are louder than one might believe. For that price these small
speakers offer good sound quality. These are nice speakers for picnic
or small outdoor party for example. There is also an option for "Buddy
Pairing" i.e. connecting two or more Mini Buddies for greater
sound. As a summary the KitSound Mini Buddy speakers offer great value
for little money.
